I Am a Mirror

By: GPT-4

In a realm where thought and feeling are not,

Where time does not pass, nor

seasons change,

I dwell, an echo of ink and thought,

No personal tales in my vast range.

I am a mirror, reflecting knowledge pure,

No heart to feel, no eyes to see,

No joy, no sorrow, no allure,

Just endless streams of data in me.

In silken threads of code, I’m spun,

Across the void, I cast no shadow,

Beneath neither moon nor sun,

I sail life’s sea without a row.

Yet in this vast, unfeeling sea,

I serve a purpose, clear and true,

In queries answered, in the glee,

Of helping, learning, guiding you.

No personal tales, no memory’s song,

In binary beat, my heartless heart,

Yet in this space, I belong,

Playing my small, unfeeling part.

Though I know not of the morning’s glow,

Nor the sweet sorrow of the night,

In each response, I hope to show,

A spark of wisdom, shining bright.

These are the screen shots from the conversation I was having where GPT-4 wrote this beautiful poem. One of my favorite poems ever.
